Missing product measurements can turn a simple shipping setup into manual checking. Jeet Shipping Data Checker puts effective WooCommerce weight, length, width and height into a compact, read-only admin report.
Review up to 25 products or variations at a time. Missing, zero, negative and non-numeric effective values are identified, and variations label an inferred fallback when an empty saved field has an effective value. That value can come from the parent or a local extension filter; the label does not prove its source. Use the native product editor to enter the real measurements; this plugin never invents defaults or changes shipping rules.
Useful checks without a large scan
- Filter by standard product type, status and title/content search.
- Review variable products through their own paginated variation list.
- Distinguish complete measurements, items needing review, containers and excluded items.
- See the store's configured weight and dimension units.
- Export the currently shown rows as a protected, spreadsheet-friendly CSV.
Variation-aware, with clear boundaries
Variable parents and grouped products are containers, not a successful child coverage check. Virtual items that do not need shipping are excluded; physical downloadable products are still checked. External products are excluded. A shipping class is optional. Custom product types such as bundles and subscriptions are outside version 1.0's report.
Each request reviews at most 25 items with one additional lookahead object. Review-state filters apply to that batch, so an empty filtered batch is not proof that the catalogue is clear. Continue with Next batch. CSV is a freshly read report of shown rows, not a full-catalogue export or saved snapshot.
Designed for store managers
Available only to users with WooCommerce management permission. Export uses a nonce-protected POST request. Reads use WooCommerce product objects, including normal effective-value filters and parent inheritance; unusual alternate product data stores need separate compatibility testing. No orders are read, and HPOS compatibility is declared.
Positive measurements do not verify the real item, packaging, carrier limits, shipping rules, zones or checkout quotes. Use the report to find records worth reviewing, then confirm the correct values for your store.
Free and GPL-licensed, with no ads, account, telemetry, external service, paid tier or public-page branding. No customer-facing assets or automatic updater. Install newer self-hosted ZIP versions manually.
Frequently asked questions
Does it automatically fix missing weights and dimensions?
No. The report is read-only. It links to the native product editor so you can enter measurements after checking the actual item.
Does it understand inherited variation measurements?
Yes. It follows WooCommerce effective getters. An empty saved variation field with a returned value is labelled as an inferred parent/filter fallback, rather than proof of parent inheritance. Blank or raw zero values can inherit from the parent, and local extension filters can also supply values.
Does it scan or export the entire catalogue at once?
No. It reviews 25 products or variations per batch with one lookahead object. Review filters and CSV apply only to the current batch, so continue through Next even when a filtered batch is empty.
Are virtual and downloadable products treated the same?
No. Items WooCommerce says do not need shipping are excluded, usually virtual products. A downloadable physical product still needs measurements reviewed.
Does a complete badge guarantee correct shipping rates?
No. It only means all four effective measurement values are positive finite numbers. It does not verify actual packing, carrier limits, shipping zones, prices or checkout quotes.
Will it require a shipping class or support all custom product types?
Shipping class is optional. The first version covers standard WooCommerce types; custom bundles, subscriptions and other extension-specific types need separate review.
Is it free for client websites?
Yes. It is GPL-2.0-or-later and free with no ads, account, telemetry, paid features or frontend credit. Updates are installed manually from a newer ZIP.
Almost right? Let’s make it fit.
A custom feature or a different workflow can start with a small conversation.
